Honor underscores Cook Medical’s commitment to purpose-driven growth and sustainable business practices
Cook Medical has announced that its Singapore operations have been awarded the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre’s (NVPC) “Company of Good” recognition, a nationwide program that celebrates businesses integrating social responsibility into their core business strategies in Singapore.
The “Company of Good” framework evaluates companies across five impact pillars, including People, Society, Environment, Governance, and Economic, promoting what NVPC calls “Profit with Purpose.” In 2025 a record 393 organizations achieved the standard in Singapore, signaling a growing nationwide movement towards building a good economy together with its corporate citizens.
Cook Medical’s key contributions that led to the award include:
- Empower communities through partnerships and volunteering.
- Champion sustainability by reducing our environmental footprint.
- Promote social equity via inclusive employment practices and skills development.
“This recognition affirms our belief that doing good and doing well can go hand-in-hand,” said Samuel Teh, General Manager of Cook Medical Singapore. “It highlights that we strive to make an impact in the local community we are a part of — not only through delivering inventive medical solutions but also by contributing to a more caring and inclusive society.”
Looking ahead, Cook Medical will continue to leverage its resources and medical-device expertise to create positive, lasting impact in Singapore and beyond, supporting the nation’s vision of a forward-looking, inclusive economy.
