Ribbon-cutting in the Groundbreaking Ceremony
Shanghai, China — Cook Medical performed a groundbreaking ceremony on its new operation center in Shanghai West Hongqiao Business District, attended by leaders and the management team from Shanghai Qingpu District government, West Hongqiao Business District and Cook Medical.
Cook Medical has been dedicated to serving local patients through quality products and people-centric services for over 20 years in China. Such investment in Shanghai West Hongqiao Business District underscores Cook Medical’s commitment in China.
The new operation center will span 15,000 square meters with the construction estimated to be completed in 2021. Integrated with warehousing, product development training and office facilities, Cook China will be further upscaled to respond to the local market with efficiency and agility.

Zhengyi Zhang, Vice Associate of Committee of Commerce in Shanghai Qingpu District emphasised that, as part of the district’s strategy of building up the high-end healthcare ecosystem, Cook Medical will become the important innovation platform for East QingPu and grow as a powerful link to connect the different development areas within the district.
