The Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is often described as the new frontier of the 21st century. As home to some of the fastest growing economies in the world, the region presents itself as one of the most exciting markets globally.
Cook Medical first entered the APAC region through Australia in 1979, we later expanded our presence to countries and cities such as China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
During the initial stage of expansion, a team of self-starters, problem solvers, and innovators ventured into the APAC market, with a common goal of making high-quality minimally invasive products available to more patients in need. Driven by a strong sense of purpose, they soon saw success in the region.
Closely allied with hospitals and healthcare professionals, we drew on decades of honed clinical experience to provide the best solution to physicians and patients. Our international team fosters collaboration across our global facilities and offices, allowing us to leverage existing resources and deliver effective and reliable products–into the right hands at the right time.
For more than 40 years in the APAC region, our products and expertise have made a difference in the lives of millions. As we move forward, we will continue to work closely with healthcare professionals in addressing complex medical challenges by developing innovative medical devices. We will also strengthen our product delivery capability, making minimally invasive products more accessible in the APAC region.
